By downloading, installing, or using Chiwee you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the app. If you do not agree, do not use Chiwee.

Not Medical Advice

Chiwee is a personal growth and habit-building tool. The content, features, and AI interactions within the app are for informational and motivational purposes only. They do not constitute medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice. Chiwee is not a licensed therapist and does not replace professional mental health care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services immediately.

License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Chiwee grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the application solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer any part of the app. All intellectual property rights in Chiwee remain with its developers.

User Content

Any journal entries, habit logs, mood records, and other content you create within Chiwee remain yours. This content is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it. You are solely responsible for the content you create and for keeping your device secure.

AI Interactions

Chiwee uses third-party AI providers to power its AI psychologist feature. Conversations are processed by these providers solely to generate responses. AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation. Do not rely on AI responses for medical, legal, or financial decisions.

Premium Subscription & Purchases

Certain features of Chiwee are available through a premium one-time purchase or subscription, processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All payments, refunds, and billing inquiries are handled by the respective store. Chiwee does not collect or store any payment information. Premium features are tied to your store account. Chiwee reserves the right to modify, add, or remove premium features at any time.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Chiwee for any unlawful purpose, to harm other users or third parties, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app or its systems, or to use automated tools to scrape or interact with the app. Violation of these restrictions may result in termination of your access to the app.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Chiwee is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that any defects will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chiwee and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or emotional harm — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the app, applicable law, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
