This Privacy Policy applies to the Chiwee mobile application and this website.
Information We Collect
Chiwee does not require an account and does not collect personal identifiers such as name, email, phone number, or precise location.
Local Storage
Your habits, journal entries, mood tracking, and chat history are stored locally on your device. Chiwee does not operate servers that store this content.
AI Chat Feature
When you use the AI psychologist feature, the messages you type are sent to OpenRouter to generate a response. This is necessary to provide the feature.
Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in the chat. Chiwee does not control how third-party AI providers may process data sent through their services.
Payments
Chiwee Premium is a one-time purchase processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Chiwee does not receive or store your payment card details.
Analytics & Tracking
Chiwee does not use analytics SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.
Data Sharing
Chiwee does not sell or share your personal data. The only data sent off-device is what you voluntarily send when using the AI chat feature (to OpenRouter).
Data Deletion
You can delete chat history or reset all app data at any time from within the app. This permanently removes stored data from your device.
Children’s Privacy
Chiwee is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect product changes. The “Last updated” date will be revised when changes are made.
